Rivier Announces Women’s Ice Hockey Leadership Change
NASHUA, N.H. – Chris Czarnota, the Head Coach of the Rivier University women's ice hockey program, has stepped down, effective immediately. Czarnota led the Raiders women's ice hockey program for its first three seasons of varsity play.
Noelle Sass (Head Softball Coach) will lead the team as the interim head coach. Maura Ellins (Senior Woman Administrator, Head Women's Lacrosse Coach) and Hayley Sutherland (Head Field Hockey Coach) will join Hugh Murphy as assistant coaches.
A search for the program's next head coach will commence following the season.
The Raiders next contest is Friday, Feb. 2, at 7:10 p.m. at Worcester St.
