Raiders fall in overtime, 1-0

(Nashua, NH) Dustin Hughes' goal just over nine minutes into overtime sent the visiting Wildcats home with a hard fought victory against Rivier College this evening, 1-0.

The Raiders battled hard and played their most complete game to date. Senior Cameron Williams (Lisbon, NH) was the anchor along the defensive line as he helped limit the Johnson and Wales scoring opportunities.

Freshman Bryar King (Berlin, NH) played tremendous in net for the Raiders. He was able to stop all 20 shots that he saw in regulation as Rivier entered their first overtime game of the season.

Classmate Danny Connelly (Bedford, NH) was able to muster up two quality shots on net in the first half but came up empty.

The Raiders will look to rebound from this tough defeat on Saturday afternoon. Rivier will travel up to Standish, Maine and square off against a tough Saint Joseph's College team in a 12pm contest.
