King named GNAC Rookie of the Week

(Nashua, NH) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference has announced their weekly honors. For the first time this season, a Rivier College Men's Soccer Student-Athlete has been named.

Freshman Bryar King (Berlin, NH) was given the GNAC Rookie of the Week Award for the week of October 9th - October 15th.

King was honored for his performance in net for the Raiders. In the three games that the Men's Soccer program played, King was in net for all 270 minutes while recording 52 saves.

In the loss to Emmanuel College, he made an impressive 26 saves. King would record another 26 saves in losses to Fitchburg State University and Anna Maria College.

The Raiders will host Elms College in a non-conference match up on Thursday, October 20th. Game time is set for 7pm.
