(Northfield, VT) Norwich University received a five point effort out of Ryan Robertson as the defeated a rebuilding Rivier College squad 6-0 on senior day.
Robertson was able to obtain three points in the first half as he netted his first of the game just 8 minutes in. About five minutes later he assisted on Joe Young's fifth goal of the season.
Robertson would add his second goal of the game (5th of 2011) to begin the four goal second half attack. Yegor Bezuglyy, Adam Ploof and Colin Pope would add tallies resepectively to complete the Cadet scoring.
Freshman Bryar King (Berlin, NH) stopped 10 of the 16 shots he faced in the loss.
Rivier will wrap up the 2011 season with a Thursday night home game against Colby-Sawyer (7pm start time). The Senior Night festivities will begin just before kick off as the team will honor seniors Cameron Williams, Corey Oliveiro and Carl Ghannad.
