Men’s Basketball Bested by Pride

NASHUA, NH: Rivier men's basketball lost against Regis College in conference action this evening in the Muldoon Center.   

THE BASICS:

- Score: Regis 73, Rivier 67

- Records: Rivier (2-10, 0-4 GNAC), Regis (7-3, 3-0 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- Pharaoh Davis (Plainville, MA) led the Raiders with 15 points and five rebounds. Nikolas Pignone (Stoneham, MA) came off the bench with 13 points and five rebounds. The Raiders put up comparable numbers with Regis which kept them in the game.

- For the Pride, Russell Rau scored 22 points and collected eight rebounds. Devante Thompson and Justin Evelyn both put up 15 points for Regis.

- Riv had a free throw shooting percentage of 61.1% and Regis had a free throw shooting percentage of 58.3%.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

- Rebounds: Regis 44, Rivier 42

- Assists: Regis 9, Rivier 8

- Shooting Percentage: Regis 45.6%, Rivier 37.3%
