
Cadets Stun Men’s Basketball
NASHUA, NH: Rivier men's basketball lost to Norwich in GNAC action today in the Muldoon Center.
THE BASICS:

- Records: Rivier (2-8, 0-2 GNAC), Norwich (7-2, 1-0 GNAC)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Raiders came out with a stifling defense for the majority of the first half. The energy soon shifted as the Cadets traded crucial baskets with Rivier's Robenson Baguidy (Goffstown, NH) and Nikolas Pignone (Stoneham, MA). The Cadets' second unit provided a late offensive spark to close the half tied at 34 apiece.
- Owen Liss led the Cadets with 15 points and eight rebounds. Jalen Olivero had an efficient double-double tonight, contributing a game-high 16 points on 64% from the field, along with ten rebounds. Coming off the bench, Nick Graves had 4 points for the Cadets.
- Rivier had four players reach double-digit scoring this evening, with Pignone notching a team-high 14 points. Nesta Roberts (Manchester, CT) recorded 13 points and 13 rebounds to aid the Raiders, while Pharaoh Davis (Plainville, MA) contributed 12 points of his own for Riv.
