
Innerfield Tabbed GNAC Player of the Week
WINTHROP, Mass. – Junior Nathan Innerfield was tabbed the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week following his impressive debut for the Rivier baseball team on Sunday in a doubleheader sweep of Lancaster Bible down in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
In two games played, the Weare, N.H. native went 5-for-7 at the plate with six RBI, and three runs to his credit. He launched a three-run homer to right field in the opening game of the campaign.
The two wins marked the second consecutive year that the Raiders opened their season with a 2-0 start.
Innerfield and the Raiders will continue action in the Palmetto State with a Monday matchup against Elmira at 4:00 p.m. from Ebbets Field at the Ripken Experience.
