(Bennington, VT) The Rivier College Raider offense was slicened by Southern Vermont College this afternoon as the Raiders were defeated 11-0.
Junior Kyle Bowser (Newington, NH) and sophomore Arthur Hoffman (Malden, MA) recorded the only two hits for Rivier on the afternoon.
Freshman Lucas Palma (Bristol, CT) fell to 0-3 in his young pitching career as he allowed SVC to score 11 times, 7 which were earned, in 4.2 innings of work. Junior Justin Chenevert (Wilmington, MA) pitched the final 3.1 innings holding Southern Vermont hitless over that stretch.
The Raider Baseball program will return to action this upcoming Sunday (3/25) as they welcome GNAC newcomer Anna Maria College for a double-header. Game one's start time is scheduled for 12pm over at Harvey Woods Field on the campus of Daniel Webster College.
