Menchaca Tabbed GNAC Rookie of the Week
WINTHROP, Mass. – Rivier men's volleyball first-year outside hitter Sebastian Menchaca was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week following his performance on the road in Saturday's four-set win over Dean, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
Menchaca put together a 13-kill, seven-dig, one ace, one block effort in the win over the Bulldogs, salvaging a split in the team's final conference tri-match of the campaign.
The Raiders return to action on Tuesday, April 2 in a GNAC matchup with Elms set for 7:00 p.m. at the Muldoon Center.
