McEvoy, Biscan Compete at NCAA East Regional

HOPKINTON, N.H. – The Rivier women's cross-country team was represented by doctoral student Emma McEvoy and first-year Ayla Biscan, in Saturday's NCAA Division III East Regional held at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds, hosted by Suffolk University.

McEvoy was the first of the two Raiders to cross the finish line. The Atlanta, Ga. native placed 49th with a time of 23:46.91, just over two minutes behind the top runner, Rachel Brennan who won with a time of 21:43.31.

Biscan finished the race in 220th place, clocking in at 36:04:04.

McEvoy and the Raiders now await the results of the at-large bid drawing on Sunday, Nov. 17 to determine if the season continues onto the NCAA Division III Championships.
