Men's Volleyball: Smith selected as GNAC Offensive Player of the Week

(Nashua, N.H.)  The Rivier University Athletics Department is proud to announce Senior David Smith has been named GNAC Offensive Player of the Week in the GNAC Men's Volleyball Report.  

Smith started the season off with a bang after traveling down to New York City to face the Bloodhounds of John Jay College and the Lions of Eastern Nazarene College. In his first showing the veteran hit an impressive .700 after dropping 8 kills on just 10 attempts. In addition the hitter recorded 3 assists and 7 aces for a total of 15 points on the match.  Later that afternoon Smith recorded another 7 kills, 6 digs and 2 blocks against the Lions.
