(Nashua, N.H.) The Rivier University Men's Volleyball team top the Leopards of Wentworth Institute of Technology at home tonight in a five-set battle, 3-2. The win lifts the Raiders to an 11-3 overall record with an unblemished GNAC record, 5-0. The loss drops the Wentworth to an 11-3 overall record and 4-1 in league play. The Raiders remain the lone undefeated team in GNAC, defeating the Leopards by set scores of 25-23, 23-25, 25-18, 17-25, and 15-12.
The Raiders attack was led by senior Francis Kokoros (Braintree, Mass.) who dropped 18 kills hitting at .371. Senior hitter David Smith (Clinton, OH) belted 15 kills proving exactly why he was selected as the GNAC Offensive Player of the Week in Week 6 of the GNAC Men's Volleyball Report.

Senior setter Pedro Campos handed out 55 assists tonight and chipped in 3 kills.

Kokoros's defense was beastly as he stonewalled the Leopards with 8 blocks.
Up next for the Raiders will be a double header against MIT (11-3) and Sage College (4-12) in Albany, N.Y. this Saturday at 2PM and 4PM.
