(Nashua, New Hampshire) The Rivier University Men's Lacrosse team continued GNAC Conference play with a win over visiting Johnson & Wales University 16 – 7 today at home. Rivier moves to 7 – 4, 1 – 2 GNAC, on the season, while the loss takes Johnson & Wales to 6 – 6 and 2 – 1 GNAC. Rivier used powerful 1st and 4th quarters to overwhelm the visiting Wildcats today, leading 5 – 1 after the 1st and snuffing out any chances JWU had with a 5 – 2 run in the 4th quarter.
Rivier had strong performances from Colby Larsen (FR, Windham, NH), 5 goals, 1 assist, 5 shots on goal; Liam Ryan (SO, Dorchester, MA), 4 goals, 3 assists, 4 shots on goal, 4 ground balls; and Kyle Graham (SR, Londonderry, NH), 2 goals, 4 assists, 6 shots on goal, and 4 ground balls.
The visiting Wildcats were paced by Sam Sears (SO, Baltimore, MD), 2 goals, 1 assist, 3 shots on goal, and 3 ground balls; and Max Stone (SO, Burlington, CT), 2 goals, 1 ground ball, 4 shots on goal.
