Lachance’s 10 Goals Lifts Women’s Lacrosse Over Albertus

NEW HAVEN, CT: Rivier women's lacrosse dominated the Falcons of Albertus Magnus this afternoon in conference action. Sarah Lachance (Chelmsford, MA) made Rivier history, scoring ten goals in a single game to break the single-game scoring record. She also scored her 100th career goal.

- Records: Rivier (5-8, 4-8 GNAC), AMC (2-14, 1-11 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Raiders took care of business in this one making quick work of the Falcons. Lachance scored ten of the team's 17 goals throughout the contest. Chiara Skeels (Swanton, VT), Bailey Carroll (Nashua, NH), Ashley Wilder (Milford, NH), and Rachel Hinkley (Swedesboro, NJ) scored the remaining seven. Skeels had three, Carroll had two, and Wilder and Hinkley had one.

- The Falcons scoring came from Keegan Riccio, who finished with four goals. Kaitlin D'Agostino contributed three goals of her own.

- Lindsey Kruger (New Bedford, MA) got the win (4-6) after saving six shots of the 13 she faced. Kelly Musante would get tagged with the loss (2-14) after making 17 saves on 34 shots faced.
