Rea Tabbed GNAC Setter of the Week

WINTHROP, Mass. – Rivier men's volleyball's Neil Rea averaged 11.83 assists per set over six sets against Elms on Saturday, guiding the Raiders to a sweep, earning him the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Setter of the Week award for the first time in his career.

Rea notched 34 assists in game one of the doubleheader and continued to roll heading into the second match, tallying 37 more helpers as the team his at a .360 clip. Overall, he posted 71 assists, 10 digs, and six kills on the day.

Rea and the Raiders will travel from coast to coast this week to compete in the Cal Lu Fornia Invitational, as they are set to take on Marymount (Va.) and Cal Lutheran at Gilbert Arena, on Thursday, March 7, starting at 3:00 p.m.
