Saints edge Raiders, 63-62

(Nashua, NH) Sophomore Jake Nelson's (Nashua, NH) shot with 0:01 second left fell just short as the Raiders fell at home to Emmanuel College, 63-62.

It was a back and forth game from start to finish and the Saints (8-11, 7-5 GNAC) were able to have a slim two point lead at half. They were paced by Theo Robinson, who was tied for the game high with 20 points. Robinson also collected 12 rebounds giving him the games only double-double. Isaiah Duke was the only other Saint to reach double figures as he added 17 points.

For the Raiders (4-13, 2-8 GNAC), sophomore Tom Poitras (Bow, NH) recorded 20 points while Nelson added 13 and junior Brian Troy (Westmoreland, NH) chipped in with 10.

These same two teams will be at it again on Monday night as Rivier will travel down to Boston, MA for a 7pm tip off at Emmanuel.
