Pilotte leads Raiders past Pine Manor of Senior Day

(Nashua, NH) Playing in her final home game, senior Jillian Pilotte (Londonderry, NH) scored a few minutes into the game as the Raiders defeated the Gators of Pine Manor this afternoon, 6-1 at Raider Field.

Four other Raiders found the back of the net including freshman Paxton LaRocque (Londonderry, NH) who scored twice in a 4 minute span in the 2nd half. Classmates Andrianna Panagiotopoulas (Dracut, MA), Sarah Brown (Barnstead, NH) and Susan O'Laughlin (Stoneham, MA) all contributed with solo goals in the game.

Freshman Kendra Shaw earned the victory in net as she stopped six of seven shots she faced.

Pine Manor received their lone goal from Sybil Lynch just inside 10 minutes left to play. Lynch was able to breakaway down the middle and sneaked it past the outstretched Shaw. Natasha Kopystynsky recorded 19 saves in goal for the Gators.

Rivier will finish out the 2012 season tomorrow afternoon as they travel down to Mount Ida College for a 2pm kickoff.
