Men's Soccer drops 3-0 decision at Trinity College

(Hartford, Conn.) The Rivier University Men's Soccer team dropped a tough 3-0 decision this afternoon against Trinity College down in Hartford, Connecticut. The loss evens the Raiders' overall record to 1-1 while the Bantams improve to 2-0.

Rivier junior goalkeeper Gary Archambault (Auburn, N.H.) made just five saves on eight shots he saw on net as the Raiders were outshot 24-3 on the evening.

Oliver Murphy and Tobias Gimand netted single tallies each in the first half for Trinity and Cody Savonen scored the lone second half goal to account for all of the Trinity scoring.

Next up for Rivier will be GNAC foe, Johnson and Wales University on Saturday afternoon – 4:00PM start time at Raider Field.
