Baseball's Cusack named GNAC Player of the Week

(Winthrop, Mass.) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced earlier today that Rivier University senior David Cusack was selected as the Baseball Player of the Week.

The Newburyport, Mass. native had a solid opening day for the Raiders, leading the team to a game one win and providing the only offense in game two. In the opening win, Cusack went 2-for-2 with a two-run home run and followed that with a 2-for-3 performance with yet another two-run home run. Overall, he went 4-for-5 with the two homers, five RBI, and a 2.000 slugging percentage for the 1-1 Raiders.

This is the first time that Cusack has been selected as the Player of the Week in his career at Rivier.
