(Nashua, NH) The Rivier University Men's Soccer team battled a very talented Lasell College team this afternoon but ended up on the losing end as they dropped a 4-0 decision.
Senior goaltender Matthew St. Peter (Colchester, VT) added 13 saves to his already impressive total this season in the loss. He also made fantastic saves on four point blank opportunities by the Lasers.
Lasell (8-1 overall, 4-0 GNAC) held just a one goal lead at halftime before the offense erupted for three goals in the second half for a 4-0 final. The game was close throughout the match until the Lasers added two goals in the final six minutes.
Rivier will host Mount Ida College in a GNAC matchup on Wednesday night. Game time is set for 7pm up on the hill at Raider Field.
