NASHUA, N.H. - The Rivier University Men's Lacrosse team (2-4, GNAC 2-4) close out the regular season in Boston, MA Wednesday afternoon when they take on the Emmanuel Saints (3-5, GNAC 3-4). The opening whistle is set for 5:00 PM at the picturesque Roberto Clemente Field, located in the Fens area of the city. The Raiders look to end a three game slide with their most recent game being a 19-8 loss at Lasell last Saturday. Emmanuel posted a 16-9 win over Anna Maria just four days ago.

Players to Watch for the Raiders:
Freshman midfielder Alan Cozzolino (Hamden, CT) turned in yet another solid performance at the faceoff X last Saturday at Lasell. The rookie finished the day winning 18 of 31. Cozzolino has gone 68 of 133 this spring for a 51.1 winning percentage while also leading the team in GB's with 36.

Freshman defender Rob DelPrete (Mount Sinai, NY) continues to be a strong presence on the back end for the Raiders. The long pole leads the team with 11 caused turnovers while also excelling in transition.

Freshman attackman Michael Ference (Salem, NH) has made a strong case for GNAC Rookie of the Year with an outstanding first season for the Raiders. The lefty leads the team in points with 28 as well as assists with 11.

This game marks the 10th overall meeting between Rivier and Emmanuel. The Saints hold the advantage with a 6-3 record over the Raiders. However, Rivier has won the last three contests, the last being a thrilling 11-10 decision earlier this month. Historically, the Saints have outscored the Raiders by a total of 97-74.
