McKelvey Honored as ECHA Rookie of the Week for Third Time
WORCESTER, Mass. – Rivier women's ice hockey first year forward Rebecca McKelvey tallied two points to claim her third Eastern Collegiate Hockey Alliance (ECHA) Rookie of the Week nod of the season in a 0-1-1 week for the Raiders.
In a 5-3 loss to Albertus Magnus on Friday, Dec. 1 at Conway Arena, McKelvey picked up an assist on the second goal of the game scored by Molly Dukesherer finishing up the series at Ralph Walker Skating Rink, McKelvey recorded the lone Raiders' goal to earn the Raiders a 1-1 draw on Saturday, Dec. 2.
Up next, the Raiders will take part in the Castleton Invitational on Dec. 8 and 9, as they look to take home their first tournament championship.
