Rivier Athletics to Host National Girls and Women in Sports Day Feb. 5

NASHUA, N.H. – The Rivier University Department of Athletics invites the public to a celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day on Monday, February 5, as the women's basketball team takes on Trinity (Conn.) at 7:00 p.m. at the Muldoon Center. 

National Girls and Women in Sports Day honors the accomplishments and hard work of female student-athletes in the classroom, in sports, and in the community. The day will showcase Rivier's female student-athletes, staff, and coaches to thank them for their hard work.

At halftime, there will be a chance to participate in a game of knockout for a chance to win a t-shirt. 

Following the contest, the community will be able to interact with the student-athletes of our programs in a meet-and-greet style reception.
