Gagnon Named GNAC Goalie of the Week
WINTHROP, Mass. – After posting 17 saves in a 12-7 season-opening victory over Curry on Saturday afternoon, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tabbed Rivier men's lacrosse senior goalkeeper Sawyer Gagnon the Goalie of the Week on Monday.
Gagnon made 17 saves on 23 shots faced to help keep the Colonels out of the back of the net and help boost the Raiders to a 1-0 start for the first time since the 2021 campaign.
Rivier will hit the road for another non-conference clash on Saturday, March 2 against Roger Williams with the opening faceoff set for 1:00 p.m. from Bayside Field.
