Plummer tabbed GNAC Goalie of the Week

(Boston, MA) This week the Great Northeast Athletic Conference selected Rivier University freshmen Clark Plummer (Londonderry, N.H.) and David Bray (West Suffield, Conn.) for Goalie of the Week and Conference Honor Roll, respectively.

Plummer collected 30 saves in a two-win week for the Raiders. The rookie stopped 58% of all shots this week and recorded 7.43 goals against average. Plummer also orchestrated a defensive unit that cleared the ball at an 84% success rate while also collecting an assist on a goal scored in a win Vs. Lyndon State this week. The second of the week's two victories came on the road against Rosemount College, in Philadelphia, marking the young program's first-ever road victory.

David Bray (West Suffield, Conn.), Freshman, Midfielder, Rivier University

Bray racked up 8 goals and 3 assists in the Raiders three games versus Regic College, Lyndon State, and Rosemount College. Bray also fired 30 shots over the three game span.

The Raiders are 3 – 1 and off to a strong start to the 2013 season. They will return to action on Monday, March 11th as they host Thomas College in a 4pm non-conference contest.
