Ledoux Tabbed GNAC Rookie of the Week
WINTHROP, Mass. – Rivier women's lacrosse first-year attacker Ashlynn Ledoux was selected as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week, posting 10 points in a 2-0 week for the Raiders.
Ledoux contributed four goals and two assists in a 14-9 non-conference road win at VTSU Castleton on Tuesday, March 4 before notching a goal and three assists in the team's conference opener at Anna Maria on Saturday in which the Raiders won 16-6.
The Hookset, N.H. native finished the week with seven goals and three assists, scoring on two free-position attempts, while scooping four ground balls and causing one turnover.
Ledoux and the Raiders will return to action on Saturday, March 15 in a GNAC road contest at Emmanuel (Mass.) with a noon opening draw slated from Roberto Clemente Field.
