Graham, Plummer named to GNAC All-Conference Teams

(Boston, Mass.) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced their 2014 Men's Lacrosse All-Conference teams this afternoon and a pair of Rivier Raiders were selected.

Rivier University midfielder Kyle Graham (Sophomore – Londonderry, NH) was selected to the GNAC Conference 2014 All-Conference Team First Team.  Graham poured in 31 goals on the season, leading the Raider attack.  He also led the Raiders in assists, piling up 27 helpers.  Graham also notched 79 ground balls. 

Clark Plummer (Sophomore - Londonderry, N.H.) was a rock in the net for the Raiders this season, and the second year player was recognized for his play by being named to the GNAC Conference 2014 All-Conference Team Second Team.  Plummer finished the regular season with an 8 – 7 overall record and in doing so he becomes the first Rivier goalie in the history of the program to have a winning record over the course of a season.  Plummer played 828 minutes over the season, compiling a 7.97 goals against average, 63.5 save percentage, and 191 total saves.

Danny Hooper (Senior - Wakefield, R.I.) was selected to the GNAC Conference Sportsmanship Team.  For Hooper, the award is a great add on to cap off his senior season.  Hooper has been an integral part of the Raiders attack scoring 21 goals and adding 7 assists this season, placing him fifth on the goal scorers list for the season.  For his career, Hooper totaled 57 goals and 29 assists.
