Hooper Leads the Way in Men's Lacrosse

(Boston, MA)  Senior Danny Hooper was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week. 

The Wakefield, RI native scored 5 goals and handed out an assist in Rivier University's 17-0 victory over non-conference foe Green Mountain College. The 5'9" attackman also collected 10 groundballs from his attack position creating additional offensive opportunities all afternoon for the Raiders. A four year starter, Hooper attained single game career highs both in goals and groundballs.

This is the first time this season that Hooper or a Raider has earned GNAC Player of the Week.
