Women's Cross Country falls to Emerson College in Dual Meet @ Pop Crowell Invite

(Wenham, Mass.) The Rivier University Women's Cross Country team competed in a dual meet with Emerson College while at the Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon College. The Raiders were defeated by the Lions, 22-34 after Emerson placed three runners in the top five.

Ali Dokus of Emerson College was the top finisher as she crossed the line at 20:37. Rivier freshman Anna Pearsons (Kingston, Mass.) finished just seconds after Dokus at 20:46 and Emerson's Natalie Kenney was third at 23:14.

Sophomore Grace Flanagan (Lebanon, N.H.) was the fourth runner to finish at 23:41 and Emerson's Cristina Ashbaugh rounded out the top five as she crossed the line at 23:53.

Sophomore Kathleen Maggio (Londonderry, N.H.), senior Heather Devereaux (Manchester, N.H.) and junior Alicia Brown (Chichester, N.H.) were the other finishers for Rivier.
