Davis named GNAC Runner of the Week

(Boston, MA) The Great Northeast Athletic Conference has chosen Rivier Univeristy junior Alec Daivs as the Men's Cross Country 'Runner of the Week'.

The Amherst, New Hampshire native became the first Rivier Men's Cross Country runner to finish first in a race in over two years. His overall time of 29:41 was nearly three minutes faster than the 2nd place finisher. This was also Davis' personal best time in the 8K.

The XC team will be back in action this Friday as they host the Raider Invitational here on the campus of Rivier Univeristy.
