(Nashua, NH) The Rivier University Women's Soccer team fell at home to the Monks of Saint Joseph's College this afternoon up on the hill at Raider Field.
Saint Joseph's (6-4-2 overall, 3-4-2 GNAC) received goals from Danielle Daigle and Megan Ford. Daigle's goal came early in the first half as she scored at the 09:50 mark. Ford scored her lone tally within the closing minutes as she stopped the clock at 87:34.
Rivier (3-9-2, 1-7-2 GNAC) had some opportunities as they outshot the Monks 16-14. Junior goaltender Cassandra Brown (Somersworth, NH) made six saves on the day.
The Raiders will return to action on Wednesday night as they battle Emmanuel College in a 7pm GNAC contest in Boston, MA.
