Women's XC ran in the Pop Cromwell Invitational

(Wenham, MA) The Rivier College Women's Cross Country team competed in the Pop Cromwell XC Invitational this afternoon on the campus of Gordon College.

The team was led by sophomore Laura DeChristoforo (Burlington, MA). She was the top finisher for Rivier with a time of 24:12, which was good enough for 164th out of 270 runners.

Sophomore Althea Sacco (Colrain, MA) was right behind DeChristoforo as she was able to clock in just 34 seconds later at 24:46.

About two minutes later, senior Christine Cyr (Westbrook, ME) finished with a 26:43 showing.

Sophomore Luz Fernandez (Machester, NH) and junior Brandi Page (Epping, NH) rounded out the five man team as they crossed at 29:55 and 34:51 respectively.

As a team, the Raiders finished in 26th place.

Next up on the schedule is the Runnin' Monks Invitational at Saint Joseph's College in Standish, ME. The meet will be held on Saturday, October 8th.
