2023 Season Preview: Men’s and Women’s Cross Country

NASHUA, N.H. – The Rivier cross country program, under the direction of second year head coach Henry Morales, is set to partake in five meets this fall across New England.

The men's team returns junior Thomas Regan and sophomore Noah Cavallo and welcomes first year Cameron Ingram.

The women's side sees seniors Emma Desmarais, Emma Langer, Kelly Lavoie, Tatianna Rodriguez and juniors Sophia Lunati and Anne McIntosh while first year Lily Bateman joins the squad.

Starting on Friday, Sept. 1, the Raiders will compete in the Suffolk Short Course Classic rust-buster, with the women participating in a 3.1k race, while the men will compete in a 5k. This marks the first of three events held at historic Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. that the team will participate in.

Following this meet, the team will return to their respective 6k and 8k races at the Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon in Wenham, Mass.

The squad will conclude the campaign at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship hosted by St. Joseph's (Me.) in Standish, Maine on Oct. 29.
