Men's Volleyball: Raiders blank Lasell College, 3-0

(Auburndale, Mass.) The Rivier University Men's Volleyball team earned yet another Great Northeast Athletic Conference victory tonight as they defeated Lasell College in straight set inside the Lasell Athletic Center. The Raiders improve to 19-6 overall on the season and 10-0 in the conference while the Lasers stumble to 6-17 overall, 3-5 in the GNAC.

Rivier won the three-set match by scores of 25-19, 25-18 and 25-19.

Senior Grant Andler (Chicago, Ill.) was the leader for the Raiders as he hammered down 11 kills and junior Dashaun Graham (Highland Falls, N.Y.) added seven kills. Senior setter Garrett Bucklin (Jamestown, R.I.) collected 30 assists and sophomore Cam Roth (Coventry, R.I.) scooped up nine digs in the win. Classmate David Smith (Clinton, Ohio) also contributed with seven kills and seven digs for Rivier.

Lasell saw Andy Henriquez total a team-high six kills, 14 assists and four total blocks to lead the team. Conor Leary-Watson added five kills and Janci Soto racked up seven total blocks along the net. Jordan Aprea picked up 10 digs in the loss.

Rivier will close out the month of March on Saturday afternoon as they travel to Boston, Mass. for a GNAC contest at Emerson College. Game time is scheduled for 12pm.
