Women’s Soccer Draws with Dean

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  Throughout the entire first half, the Raiders maintained possession over 80% of the time. In the half, Rivier put up ten shots and nearly scored numerous times. Haley Gaunt had a perfect day in net for the Bulldogs, saving all 11 shots she faced.

-  The second half was a back-and-forth battle between the two teams. Dean's offense came alive in the half, putting up their nine shots. Emily Mikelson (Concord, NH) was awarded the draw after coming into the game in the second half. She saw three shots on net and saved all of them.

- The overtime period almost ended in the first 15 seconds on a play where Dean's Rachael Amatruda beat Mikelson, but her shot was just wide enough to catch the post. No one else would come close enough to end the game.
