Women's Soccer Shutout by Norwich

NASHUA, NH: The Rivier University women's soccer team fell this afternoon to conference opponent Norwich University by a score of 2-0.

  THE BASICS:

- Date: 9/18/2021

- Score: Norwich 2, Rivier 0

- Records: Norwich (2-2, 1-2 GNAC), Rivier (2-4, 0-3 GNAC)

 HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Cadets were able to beat Raider keeper Maya Puma (Tyngsborough, MA) in both the first half and second. Puma did, however, have a six save game on eight shots faced.

Jillian Patria found the back of the net in the first half for Norwich, with Sarah Rucci scoring the game's second goal in the 75^th minute.

- For the Raiders, Kaylee Magoon (Loudon, NH) continues to lead the offense as she led the team in shots with two.

 INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  Saves: Rivier 6, Norwich 2

-  Fouls: Norwich 7, Rivier 5
