Women's Soccer Tally Second Win in a Row

NASHUA, NH: The Rivier women's soccer team put another game in the win column this evening against non-conference opponent Northern Vermont University-Lyndon by a score of 2-0.

  THE BASICS:

- Score: Riv 2, Lyndon 0

- Records: Riv (2-3), Lyndon (0-4)

 HOW IT HAPPENED:

- The Raiders put together a two goal first half, and that is all they needed to get their second win of the season. Rivier's first goal came off the foot of Makayla Zulon (East Bridgewater, MA) in the 14th minute of the game.  

-  Rivier would tack on the last score of the contest in the 27th minute when Kaylee Magoon (Loudon, NH) scored her fourth goal in three games.

- Emily Milelson (Concord, NH) played the full 90 minutes in net for the Raiders and only saw two shots on goal, and she saved both.

- For the Hornets, Karly Cordwell stood her ground in net, facing 16 shots on goal and compiling 14 saves.
