Women’s Lacrosse Falls To Emmanuel (Mass.)

NASHUA, N.H. – The Rivier women's lacrosse team was downed by Emmanuel (Mass.) on Saturday afternoon in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) matchup at Merrill Field, 14-4.

The Raiders fell to 5-5 (2-4 GNAC) while the Saints moved to 8-4 (6-0 GNAC).

Rivier scored three of its four goals in the first quarter, with Bailey Carroll lighting the lamp once and Sarah Lachance finding the back of the net twice.

After falling behind 4-3 at the end of the first period, the Raiders were outscored 10-1 through the final 45 minutes to fall to .500 on the season.

Lindsey Kruger made six saves in net in the loss.

Rivier will head north to Colby-Sawyer for another GNAC clash with the Chargers on Tuesday, April 9 at 4:00 p.m. at Veitch Field.
