HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The first period was back and forth between the two programs.  USJ put the first two points up before Rachel Hinkley (Swedesboro, NJ) equalized with two goals less than a minute apart. The visitors put one more up before the end of the quarter, however, it was Sarah Lachance (Chelmsford, MA) who closed out the scoreline for the period.

- The second quarter was much like the first. Audrey Schnoor (Middlebury, VT) buried the first of the Raiders seven goals off a free position shot thirty seconds into the quarter. Caitlin Newell (Litchfield, NH) and Tara Saliany (Nashua, NH) also jumped on the board with two unassisted goals. The Blue Jays fought back notching six goals of their own.

- The Raiders took their foot off the gas in the third quarter as the visitors outpaced the Raiders 6-2. Hinkley and Ashley Wilder (Milford, NH) notched the only two points in the fourth quarter.

-The Raiders and Blue Jays both put up three goals apiece in the final quarter, however, at that point the home team was short three goals. Those goals were netted by Hastings, Lachance, and Hinkley.
