Women’s Lacrosse Falls to Emmanuel
NASHUA, NH: The Rivier women's lacrosse team fell to Emmanuel College this afternoon in a GNAC showdown on Joanne Merrill Field.
THE BASICS:

- Score: Emmanuel 23, Rivier 9
- Records: Emmanuel (4-5, 4-3 GNAC), Rivier (2-7, 1-6 GNAC)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The first period was back and forth between the conference foes. While Emmanuel outpaced the Raiders 5-4, the Raiders put on a fight. Audrey Schnoor (Middlebury, Vt) struck first for the Raiders with an unassisted goal around the 12:00 mark. Rachel Hinkley (Swedesboro, N.J.) found the net twice, while Sarah Lachance (Chelmsford, Mass.) found the back of the net unassisted before the end of the quarter.
- In the second quarter Ashley Wilder (Milford, N.H.) capitalized on a dish from Lachance. Lachance went on to close the scoring line for the period with an unassisted goal.
- In both the third and fourth quarters, the Raiders lost steam. However, they went down swinging. Caitlin Newell (Litchfield, N.H.), Ashley Wilder (Milford, N.H.) punched a couple in, and Lachance closed out the afternoon with a buzzer beater.

- Lachance tallied 3 goals, 3 assists, and scooped up 6 groundballs
- Lachance leads the Raiders with 26 goals
