Nashua, NH – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference Teams are being announced and three Raiders have been honored by the GNAC in the early rounds of releases. Two women’s lacrosse players, Rebecca Wickens (Tyngsboro, MA) and Caitlin Gallagher (Billerica, MA) along with baseball’s Nathan Knoetig (Manchester, NH) were named to either the first or second team all-conference in their respective sports.

BOSTON, Mass. - Emily Saeger '12 (Center Valley, Pa.) made 18 saves, and Chelsea Phillips '14 (Waterford, Conn.) socred seven goals and added an assist to lead third-seeded Emerson College to a 18-9 victory over sixth seeded Rivier college in the first round of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament.

Nashua, NH – The Fitchburg State Falcons outscored the Rivier College Raiders 9-2 in the second half of today's non-conference women's lacrosse game to win the road game 19-10. Kelly Finamore scored 7 goals for the Falcons and Amanda Burns added 6 goals and a team high 6 assists in the victory.

Nashua, NH – The Simmons College women’s lacrosse team used a strong second half to propel the Sharks to a 15-9 victory over GNAC foe Rivier College. The Sharks withstood a barrage of shots during the first half to come away with a 6-5 halftime lead and then poured on the offense in the second half to outscore the Raiders 9-4 en route to the 15-9 win.

Nashua, NH – After an even first half of women’s lacrosse action and the score tied 7-7, Rivier College outshot the Husson Eagles 22-8 in the second half and outscored Husson 8-4 to claim the victory 15-11. Freshman Rebecca Wickens (Tyngsboro, MA) led the Raiders offense with 5 goals and 1 assist while classmate Jessica Amaral (E. Providence, RI) scored 4 times with an assist as well.

Boston, MA - The Rivier College Raiders defeated Emmanuel College in women’s lacrosse action on Wednesday evening at Roberto Clemente Field in Boston, Mass. With the loss, the Saints fell to 1-4 on the season while the Raiders improved to 5-1.

Nashua, NH – Rebecca Wickens (Tyngsboro, MA) and Amanda Atwell (Raymond, NH) each scored 4 goals to help lead Rivier College past non-conference opponent Green Mountain College by a score of 15-8 today in women’s lacrosse action. The Raiders outshot the Eagles 40-16, including 32 shots on goal, and picked up 44 ground balls compared to just 25 for the visiting Eagles.

Nashua, NH – Three different Rivier players scored 4 times each in a 22-8 rout of Becker College today in women’s lacrosse action. Rebecca Wickens (Tyngsboro, MA), Natalie Bonvie (Salem, NH) and Amanda Atwell (Raymond, NH) each score 4 goals with Bonvie also assisting on one other and Atwell picking up 2 helpers in the Victory. The win improves Rivier to 2-0 on the young season while Becker falls to 1-2.

Nashua, NH - The Rivier College women's lacrosse team opened up their 2011 campaign with a convincing 20-4 win over first year program Wheelock College on the road. The Raiders returned 8 players from last years team and the year of experience showed as Rivier got off 24 shots on goal in the win.
