Women’s Hockey Draws Even With AMCATS

MARLBOROUGH, MA: The Rivier women's hockey team tied with Anna Maria College this evening.  

THE BASICS:

- Date: 2/11/2022

- Score: Anna Maria 1, Rivier 1

- Records: Anna Maria (7-8-2), Rivier (1-12-3)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  After a scoreless first period, Rivier got on the board in the second period on a Margaret Dickson (Brewster, MA) goal.

- Anna Maria would tie it up in the third period off of Sara Sammons stick.

- After the overtime period, the game would end in a tie with Raider tender Rachel Hinkley (Swedesboro, NJ), saving 39 shots on goal.  

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  Shots: Anna Maria 40, Rivier 13

-  Penalties: Rivier had 10 minutes on 5 infractions. Anna Maria finished with 12 minutes on 6 infractions.

-  Saves: Rivier 39, Anna Maria 12
