HENNIKER, NH: The Rivier women's hockey team ended their game this evening in a draw with New England College.  

THE BASICS:

- Date: 1/26/2022

- Score: NEC 1, Rivier 1

- Records: NEC (3-11-1), Rivier (1-10-2)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  Both teams would score their only goals in the first period. The Pilgrims would get the scoring started at the 4:34 mark on an Emily Lenzen goal. The Raiders Briana Paxson (Eagle River, AK) would knot it up at one all 11:14 into the period.

- The performance of the night came from the Raiders tender Rachel Hinkley (Swedesboro, NJ), who would go on to make 60 saves in the contest.  

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  Shots: NEC 61, Rivier 19

-  Saves: Rivier 60, NEC 18

-  Penalties: Rivier had 8 minutes on 4 infractions. NEC had 6 minutes on 3 infractions.

- Rivier women's hockey will be back on February 1st when they travel to Nichols College for a 4:40 pm game time.
