NASHUA, NH: The Rivier women's hockey team was shut out tonight by Worcester State University this evening at Conway Arena by a score of 7-0.

THE BASICS:

- Score: WSU 7, Rivier 0

- Records: WSU (4-2-1), Rivier (0-4)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Lancers scored early and often against the Raiders defense this evening going up 3-0 after one period of play. They would tack on two more in the second and third periods.

- Worcester State's victory was highlighted by Clare Conway, who netted two goals, one in the first and another in the second. Cassidhe Wozniak also scored this evening while tacking on two assists.

- The Raiders offense was led by Mya Luna (Raleigh, NC), who had four shots on goal. Rivier had two tenders split time tonight, with the majority of the evening going to Rachel Hinkley (Swedesboro, NJ). In 34 minutes, she saw 30 shots on goal and was able to save 27 of them.

-  Penalties: WSU 4 minutes on 2 infractions, Rivier 4 minutes on 2 infractions.
