Women’s Basketball Ends Semester with Loss to Albertus
NEW HAVEN, CT: The Rivier women's basketball team ended the fall semester this afternoon with a GNAC loss to Albertus Magnus by a score of 84-67.
THE BASICS:

- Score: Albertus 87, Rivier 67
- Records: Albertus (2-6, 2-1 GNAC), Rivier (4-5, 0-2 GNAC)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Falcons took an early lead against the Raiders and never surrendered it. After a two-point first quarter, Albertus took over from there with a 21 point second compared to Rivier's 11.
- After seeing a deficit of 12 to start the second half, the Raiders would win the third quarter 22 to 18 but not a big enough margin to see that deficit shrink. The Falcons would make up for the laps in the third by dropping 25 in the fourth quarter compared to Rivier's 16.
- Jakara Murray-Leach was the top scorer this afternoon with 28 points and seven rebounds. Just behind her was Katherine Raposo, who added another 17 points.
- For the Raiders, Lyric Grumblatt (Manchester, NH) had another 20+ point game with 27 and 12 rebounds. Alexa Dufries (Leicester, MA) added 17 points of her own, along with five rebounds.
