- Score: Norwich 6, Rivier 3. G2 Rivier 11, Norwich 1.

- Records: Rivier (4-14, 1-3 GNAC), Norwich (6-8, 1-3 GNAC)

GAME ONE:

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Sarah Frazier (Londonderry, NH) got the Raiders on the board first in the top of the fifth with a two-run single to right field. The Cadets answered right back, however, to tie the game up a 2-2. Maren McGinn batted in the hosting school's first run on a single to center field. The Cadets second run came on a fielder's choice that was miss played at home on a throw to plate the tying run.

- Rivier would get back on top 3-2 in the top of the sixth with a Katerina St. Angelo (Johnston, RI) double.

- Unfortunately, this would hold up with Norwich taking the lead for the first time in the bottom of the sixth inning after scoring four runs on two hits. McGinn struck again with a two-run single to center field to go up 4-3. Annika Beebe would add some insurance runs just a few batters later on a double that plated two more runs to get the final of 6-3.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

-  McGinn had the top performance at the plate, going 2-for-4 with 3 RBIs.

-  Frazier had the biggest impact for the Raiders with her 2 RBIs and going 1-for-3.

-  Both teams put up 9 hits each, with the Raiders committing 2 errors to the Cadets 1.

GAME TWO:

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- After going up 2-1 after the first inning, the Raiders put together a four-run fourth and added four more in the sixth. The fourth started with a Micayla Bourski (Pawtucket, RI) RBI single to center field. That was followed up by Frazier's second home run of the season, which came in the form of a grand slam.

- The sixth inning helped the Raiders reach the mercy rule with another four runs. The first came across on a wild pitch, then a fielder's choice. Two runs in without recording a hit. St. Angelo would change that with an RBI single to score Frazier. The Raiders final run came on a ground out.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

- Sydney Greeno (Shirley, MA) picked up the win in the circle after pitching all 6 innings allowing just 8 hits and striking out 2.

- Frazier was 1-for-2 in game two with 4 RBIs on the grand slam.
