Barbosa Resigns as Rivier University Men's Soccer Head Coach

NASHUA, N.H. — Rivier men's soccer head coach Hayden Barbosa has announced his resignation after seven years of service to the program and University.

"I truly appreciate the opportunity to work with Hayden for the past two seasons and wish him nothing but the best of luck in his future endeavors," said Rivier Director of Athletics, Jonathan Harper. "Hayden has given seven years of dedicated service to Rivier and he will be missed."

Barbosa coached two players to All-Conference status in 2023, as Chris Antonelli and Mitchell Ward each were recognized on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Third Team, as well as the All-Sportsmanship Team and All-Rookie Team, respectively.

A national search for a replacement will begin in the coming days.
