2023 Season Preview: Rivier Men’s Soccer 

NASHUA, N.H. – The Rivier men's soccer program will travel to Keene State on Saturday, Sept. 1 for its first match of the 2023 season. 

Hayden Barbosa enters his seventh season at the helm of the team and will look to lead the team to a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) playoff berth. 

Barbosa brought on 15 first years for his 2023 squad, while retaining co-captians Chris Antonelli and James DiGiovanni as graduate student-athletes who will help bolster the defensive unit. Barbosa's recruiting reached outside of the United States this season, including new rostered players from both Portugal and the Cayman Islands. 

Last season, forward Jason Harlow claimed the top scorer title for the Raiders with nine goals and one assist. Fellow rising junior, Ryan Hadouche was not far behind with 4 goals and one assist. 

The Raiders will kick off home action at Merrill Field on Sept. 9 when they host Mitchell at 3 p.m. as part of 14 GNAC contests slated for this season.
