Men’s Soccer Falls to Blue Jays

NASHUA, NH: Rivier men's soccer lost to the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) in conference play on Joanne Merrill Field this afternoon. 

THE BASICS:

- Date: 10/22/22

- Score: USJ 4, River 0

- Records: Rivier (5-7-3, 2-7-2 GNAC), USJ (9-3-3, 6-2-3 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- Mergim Kutllovci managed to get USJ on the board in the first half, with a goal scored at 17:22.

- In the second half, DeAnte Anderson scored with an assist credited to Valdet Nuredini for the Blue Jays. Later on in the half, Benjamin Marchetti received an excellent pass from DeAnte Anderson to put away another goal for USJ. The final goal of the game was scored by Blue Jays Brian Silva with two minutes left in the contest.

- Dominic Cunha (Peabody, MA) had seven saves for the Raiders. Jose Miguel Garcia Martin had one save for the Blue Jays, earning the win.
