Men’s Soccer Slips Past The AMCATS

NASHUA, NH: Rivier men's soccer won against Anna Maria College this afternoon in conference play on Joanne Merrill Field. 

THE BASICS:

- Date: 10/8/22

- Score: Rivier 2, Anna Maria 1

- Records: Rivier (4-5-2, 1-5-1 GNAC), Anna Maria (1-6-3, 1-3-3 GNAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- A quiet first half for the Raiders and the AMCATS. 

- In the second half, Jason Harlow (Naples, ME) scored with a pass from Cody Sicard (Salem, NH). Five minutes later, the AMCATS answered back with an unassisted goal by Hezekiah Adeyeye. With almost 15 minutes left in the contest Anna Maria fouled Riv inside of the box leading to a penalty kick. Ryan Hadouche (Nashua, NH) scored effortlessly, earning the lead for the Raiders.

- Dominic Cunha (Peabody, MA) had eight saves for Riv, taking the win. Valter Santiago had 3 saves for the AMCATS this afternoon.
